5:30pm - 8:30pm

FREE, pre-registration is required

Please call The Village Clinic at 778-434-3072 to register.

We will be collecting donations for the Australian wildfires. Did you know The Bowen Technique was pioneered by Thomas Ambrose Bowen of Geelong, Australia?

Our Bowen Therapist, Siân Rackham, CBT is hosting an introduction to Bowen Therapy Night at the Village Clinic! Sian will treat you to a free, 20 minute session of this gentle, healing treatment. You will be able to get to know what a Bowen treatment entails and feel how relaxing it can be.

Bowen Therapy is a gentle treatment done through light clothing, with gentle, rolling movements using fingers and thumbs. Moves are made over the whole body, on specific points that the brain recognizes as structural alignment points. Your body is encouraged to reset, realign and deflame. It may be helpful for many conditions such as low back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, sciatica, TMJ and jaw pain, stress and anxiety, carpal tunnel, arthritis, asthma, and many more. Between each move, a 2 minute pause is given. It is in this pause, that the brain is allowed to receive the signal to reset and realign. During this intro session, please come dressed in comfortable clothing; t-shirt and track pants or yoga attire, is fine.

We look forward to meeting and treating you!!
